This project explores the inner structure and density distribution of a human tooth using Micro-CT scan data. Both direct and indirect volume rendering techniques were applied to create educational visuals aimed at dental and biomedical students. The direct volume rendering emphasized material density variations such as enamel and dentin, while the indirect technique involved 3D surface reconstruction for clearer structural demarcation. Cross-sectional views were incorporated to reveal internal architecture and support visual learning. The work compares visualization strategies and discusses their respective strengths in conveying biological complexity.
